Regional traffic

A core area of 11 logistics is the regional distribution of industrial, postal and refrigerated goods in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. 11 logistics has many satisfied customers and many years of experience.

In regional transport, customers are offered a service in the distribution and full-load sector. The transportation services are mainly provided within a radius of approx. 300 km. The type of goods – industrial goods, groupage, express goods, refrigerated goods, etc. – is decisive for the type of means of transportation to be provided. In regional transport, the consignor and consignee of goods are so close to each other that the outward and return journeys can be made on the same day. The locations for the goods (collection points) are also known as terminals. In the sequence of the transport chain between the individual terminals, a distinction is made between pre-, main and onward carriage. The first leg is to the source terminal by truck, the main leg from the source terminal to the destination terminal and the final leg from the destination terminal to the recipient.
